Copenhagen Canal Tour

Boat sightseeing – 19 August, 17.00-17.50/18.00

As part of the congress programme, participants can enjoy a Copenhagen Canal Tour, offering a unique view of the city from the water. The tour passes several of Copenhagen’s most significant landmarks.

The canal tour will take participants directly to the Gala Dinner, which will take place at Væksthuseat 18:00. We therefore recommend joining the boat tour as the most convenient way to arrive at the venue. However, participants are also welcome to make their own way to the dinner location if they prefer.

You can find the location here. The boat will depart from Gammel Strand, and the tour will end near the Gala Dinner restaurant. Please note that pick-up and drop-off will not be at the same location.

Participation in the canal tour is included in the registration fee, and you can sign up for the tour during registration.

Get together

Instead of an official evening event on 18 August, we encourage participants to continue the conversations in one of Copenhagen’s many informal venues.

A great option is Pavillon Beer Garden in Fælledparken, located just a short walk from the congress venue. Set in one of Copenhagen’s largest parks, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with a wide selection of beers, food, and outdoor seating making it an ideal place to meet fellow delegates and enjoy a summer evening. Of course, participants are also welcome to explore any of the city’s many cafés, bars, and restaurants.

Some popular areas include Nyhavn, Islands Brygge, and the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), all of which offer a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and outdoor seating within easy reach of the city centre.

Gala Dinner

At Væksthuset, Operaparken – 19 August, 18.00-22.00

We invite you to join the Gala Dinner at Væksthuset, a unique restaurant located atop the iconic greenhouse in Copenhagen’s Operaparken. The venue offers stunning views of lush greenery, the canal, and some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the Opera House and Amalienborg Palace. With its floor-to-ceiling glass walls and nature-inspired interior, the setting creates a truly special atmosphere.

The menu is based on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and a sustainable approach, with a strong focus on flavour, detail, and creativity. Enjoy an evening of exceptional dining, inspiring surroundings, and great company.

The dinner is NOT included in your registration fee, tickets can be purchased during registration. Ticket price: 750 DKK incl. VAT
