We invite you to submit your abstract for an opportunity to present at EEM 2026.
Oral presentation slots will be available, selected from the submitted abstracts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your research to an international audience and engage in insightful discussions.
All presenters will be required to attend in-person to make their Oral presentation.
General terms & conditions
Abstracts must be submitted online no later than 7 May 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Abstracts for the EEM 2026 must be submitted via the official online abstract submission system. Abstracts submitted by email or as word processing files outside the submission system will not be accepted.
There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author may submit. Previously presented abstracts are allowed.
It is the author’s responsibility to designate an alternative presenter in case of presentation conflicts.
If accepted, the presenter must be listed as a co-author on the abstract at the time of submission.
Abstracts must be completed and submitted with a final status before the submission deadline. Incomplete abstracts will not be considered for inclusion in the EEM 2026 scientific programme.
All authors are responsible for ensuring that studies have been conducted in accordance with applicable national and international legislation and ethical guidelines concerning research involving humans and/or animals.
The authors are responsible for ensuring that the author list is accurate. All listed authors must qualify for authorship and approve the content of the abstract.
Abstracts must be written in clear and correct English. Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical, or scientific errors, as it will be published exactly as submitted. Abstracts will not be proofread by the organisers.
Language used should be inclusive and appropriate for the international audience of EEM 2026.
The inclusion of trade names or brand names is not permitted unless scientifically justified and essential to the content. References to agents or molecules must follow accepted scientific publication standards.
Abstract content
- The abstract must be writen in english
- Abstracts must not exceed 350 words in total.
- Do not include author names or institutions in the title or abstract text, as a blind review process will be used. Author names, affiliations, and contact details (including the email addresses of the submitter and presenting author) must be entered separately during the online submission process. Please ensure that all contact information is correct.
Review process
The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts.
Authors are asked to indicate their preferred presentation format (oral or poster). Please note that the Scientific Committee retains full authority over the final allocation.
A notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email to all presenting authors and submitters latest 27 May, 2026.
Presenting author & registration
The presenting author is required to register as an active participant no later than 14 days after receiving confirmation of abstract acceptance.
EEM 2026 reserves the right to remove any abstract from the scientific programme if the presenting author has not completed their registration
Abstract themes
Accepted abstracts will be assigned to the appropriate scientific sessions. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final session allocation. Authors are required to select the theme that they consider most relevant to their abstract during the submission process.

Travel grants
EEM 2026 offers up to 8 travel grants to Young Investigators for 1000 EUR to attend this years meeting.

SUBMISSION
- SUBMISSION DEADLINE: PRIMO OCTOBER 2025
Abstracts must be submitted in English. Accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website. By submitting an abstract you consent to giving ISCU 2023 permission to publish your abstract. Withdrawal of abstracts can only be accepted if notified in writing and subsequently confirmed by the ISCU Conference Organisers. The presenting author must register as an active participant at the conference at the latest 14 days after acceptance of an abstract.
REVIEwING
The scientific committee will review the abstract.
Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent directly to all presenting authors (and submitters) by email. Abstract notification: Primo October 2023
Please verify that your email address (submitter and presenting author) is correct as it will be used for contacting you after the review process.

ABSTRACT FORMAT
The abstract word limit is max. 4.000 characters per abstract, including spaces. If you include a table or a graphic, please reduce the character count by 400 characters.
Figures: For privacy reasons, you cannot submit tables or graphics to the form. Instead, email the figure to af@cap-partner.eu, indicating the presenting author’s name and the title of the abstract. You are limited to 1 table or figure in image format, 10 MB or less in size. If you will include a table or other graphic, please reduce the abstract character count by 400 characters. (honor system)
The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study.
Names of authors may not be listed in the title or abstract text, as a “blind” review process will be used. You will be asked to enter the name(s) of author(s) and their institution(s), when you submit your abstract online.
The abstract must include the following:
Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract.
Methods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects clearly.
Results: Present your results in a logical sequence in text, table and illustrations.
Conclusions: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study (perhaps as a discussion section) and the conclusions that are drawn from them.
Conflict of Interest: In order to allow attendees to judge potential bias from commercial interests, please indicate any potential conflicts of interest for each author.
